Anyone who is even remotely interested in technology is familiar with SXSW. Over the past several years, the annual gathering of techies in Austin, Texas has become a premiere destination for music, entertainment, networking and the latest and greatest technological advances.
With all the noise happening at the spring event, the organizers of SXSW saw an opportunity to extend their brand and provide a forum with based specifically around early-stage entrepreneurial ventures. So with that focus in mind, the inaugural SXSW v2v conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada last summer.
After the success of last year’s event, v2v is back again for 2014! Focused on connecting startups and venture capitalists with the industries that have always been a staple at SXSW, this year is sure to be filled with more great presentations from creative minds from all over the country. Panels and presentations will dig into the “creative spark” that drives innovation, as attendees will hear from the companies and thought leaders with experience in music, film, fashion, health, education, technology and many other industries.
I was fortunate enough to speak at last year’s conference, offering some predictions on the ways that AI will impact the world that we live in. Check out my presentation below!
I had a blast presenting my perspective and connecting with the other speakers and attendees and speakers. This year, I’d like to get back up on stage and discuss the ways that mobile is impacting advertisers, and highlight the opportunities that exist for both brands and publishers to reach users on their mobile devices.
I’d love for you to take a moment and vote for my presentation through the SXSW PanelPicker portal. Hope to see you in July for another great week!
